On February 13, Fat Tuesday, the GHBA Sales & Marketing Council (SMC) enjoyed “A Night in the French Quarter” as we honored the Million Dollar Circle winners. The SMC krewe “let the good times roll” with a second line band, king cake, beads, silent auction, and more.
The Million Dollar Circle awards is a nationally-recognized program that spotlights industry sales professionals during a calendar year, recognizing new home sales achievements of sales persons, sales managers, and this year, REALTORS® (brokers, broker-associates, sales associates) in Houston for 2023 closed new home sales.
Awards are based on new home sales in a year in excess of $1 million. The long list of honorees represent more than $14 Billion in combined closed sales for the 2023 calendar year!

With more than 250 awards presented that evening, the figures reflect the strength of Houston’s new home buyer market.
The award categories were:
Bronze ($1 million – $2 million);
Silver ($2 million – $5 million);
Gold ($5 million – $10 million); and
Platinum ($10 million and up).
The top three individual Platinum honorees were: Karl Ermisch with D.R. Horton Houston Southwest, $52.8 Million; Brittany McCaffery with Tri Pointe Homes, $52.1 Million; and Calvin Sowa with D.R. Horton Houston Southwest, $46.2 Million.
