In February, Greater Houston Builders Association members traveled to Las Vegas for the 81st NAHB International Builders’ Show® (IBS) – the world’s largest annual light construction show. This year’s show was the biggest in 17 years with more than 81,000 builders, remodelers, developers and other home building professionals.
Several GHBA members were honored by NAHB for their outstanding contributions and unparalleled industry standards. Congratulations to Immediate Past President Matthew Reibenstein with Royal Design Build for receiving the prestigious B.E.A.M. (Builders Engaging Associate Members) Award, an honor given to one builder who best exemplifies the motto, “It’s good business to do business with a member.”

We also celebrate GHBA Associate Vice President, Renae’ L. Turnbaugh with LG Electronics, who was inducted into the esteemed Society of Honored Associates by NAHB’s Associate Council Board for her commitment to supporting associates at both the local and national levels.
In addition, the GHBA’s Professional Women in Building Council was named the 2024 NAHB PWB Council of the Year (Large Category). We are incredibly proud of our local chapter – congratulations!
NAHB also hosted its largest awards program at IBS – The Nationals – which recognizes excellence in new-home sales and marketing. A big congratulations to these GHBA members on their achievements:
