Each year, the GHBA Presidential Citations recognize individuals whose commitment to the association goes far beyond attendance or participation, honoring those who consistently show up, lead with purpose, and give their time, talent, and heart to strengthening the homebuilding industry in Greater Houston.
These special honors were presented during the GHBA’s 2026 “Coming Home” Installation Extravaganza, an evening dedicated to reflection, gratitude, and celebration as the association gathered to install new leadership and say thank you to those who helped shape the year behind us.
Outgoing GHBA President Adam Aschmann recognized eight outstanding members with Presidential Citations for their extraordinary contributions to the GHBA and its mission. From advocacy and education to workforce development, membership growth, and charitable impact, each honoree exemplifies what it means to serve the association—and the industry—with integrity, generosity, and leadership.

Ericka Hill, Stone Manor Homes
When it comes to commitment, Ericka is a name that rises to the top. A longtime leader within GHBA, she has served across multiple roles including Bay Area Builders Association leadership, Professional Women in Building Council involvement, and GHBA executive leadership. In 2025, she also represented our federation through the National Association of Home Builders’ Leadership Academy, continuing to elevate GHBA’s voice and influence at every level.
Blake Cummins, MorningStar Builders
Blake’s leadership has been invaluable, especially through his service as Chair of the Northern Counties Builders & Developers Division. Even while navigating major life and career changes, Blake continued showing up, leading with consistency and integrity, and helping move GHBA’s work forward with steady dedication.
Renae’ Turnbaugh, LG Electronics
As Associate Vice President, Renae’ took on one of the most meaningful challenges of the year—leading the Associate Engagement Task Force. With strong guidance and a collaborative approach, she helped drive consensus and develop recommendations that shaped the association’s 2026 budget and calendar planning. Her leadership helped ensure GHBA continues evolving in ways that serve members well.
Pat Wilson, Legends Architectural Stone
Known to many as GHBA’s beloved “Santa Claus,” Pat has long been a familiar face at GHBA’s Adopt-a-Family program. In 2025, he also helped take the Associates Council Scholarship Program to new heights—contributing to a record-breaking year that resulted in $136,000 in scholarships awarded to 34 students, doubling the previous best year. His dedication makes a lasting impact on GHBA and the future of the industry.
Dave Yelovich, Homes Built Right
Dave’s influence on professionalism and education within the homebuilding industry spans decades. A frequent instructor for GHBA’s ABCs of Homebuilding classes and a past chair of the Education Committee, Dave remains a trusted resource for members navigating code questions and industry challenges. He is a true example of servant leadership—and a steady presence GHBA is fortunate to have.
Mike Dishberger, Sandcastle Homes
Mike is widely respected as both a leader inside GHBA and a key resource beyond it. He has supported charitable efforts across the industry, mentored emerging builders, and served as a go-to voice for city and county officials on permitting and homebuilding matters. His leadership and advocacy continue to strengthen the industry and elevate GHBA’s impact statewide.
D’Ann Brown, StrucSure Home Warranty
A dedicated GHBA member for more than 22 years, D’Ann has given her time, energy, and heart to the association in countless ways. She has helped strengthen GHBA’s partnerships through StrucSure’s continued high-level support, and her consistent involvement reflects the kind of leadership that shapes the culture of the organization.
Mike Moody, Newmark Homes
A longtime advocate for the industry and a past HOME-PAC Chair, Mike stepped up in a major way when he saw the need for increased support of GHBA advocacy efforts. He played a pivotal role in launching a new Issues Advocacy Fund—securing more than $160,000 in commitments to help GHBA continue protecting the ability to build and grow in the Greater Houston area. His leadership has also helped reignite GHBA’s Volume Builders’ Committee, strengthening engagement and influence across the association.
