The 2026 Fajita Fiesta Tex-Mex Cookoff brought together 14 competitive cooking teams and more than 200 hungry members for one of the year’s most flavorful networking events. A little rain couldn’t dampen the spirit, and if anything, it just added some extra steam to an already sizzling competition.
A big thank you to Legends Architectural Stone for opening their doors and hosting this year’s event at their location. Their hospitality set the perfect stage for an afternoon of great food, friendly competition, and even better company. We also want to recognize the incredible efforts of our Fajita Fiesta Committee, led by Chair D’Nita Kuhn with HomeTeam Pest Defense and Co-Chair Nicole Jacob with Mainland Stoneworks, for organizing such a successful event.
Teams went head-to-head across six categories, bringing their best beef fajitas, chicken fajitas, salsas, quesos, and open Tex-Mex creations to the table. This was ‘nacho’ average showdown, and the judges had their work cut out for them. But when the smoke cleared, the 2026 winners were:
