The Home Builders Institute (HBI), a GHBA workforce partner, recently donated furniture, tools, building materials, and other equipment to Texas State Technical College’s future construction program at the Fort Bend campus, scheduled to open in early 2026. With the Houston headquarters closing its doors, HBI chose to invest remaining materials into the next generation by supporting TSTC’s new facility. TSTC leadership joined HBI representatives onsite to receive the materials, underscoring a shared commitment to building a stronger pipeline of skilled trades professionals.
This kind of partnership is a great example of how GHBA’s Workforce Development efforts make a difference—connecting schools, industry partners, and future workers.
