Heavy rains over the July 4th holiday brought devastating flooding to communities across Texas, damaging homes, displacing families, and leaving many in urgent need of assistance. Many of our neighbors and industry partners are facing significant challenges as they work to recover from the widespread damage, and the Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) is committed to helping these communities get back on their feet. We are activating resources and supporting organizations working on the ground to help families and communities impacted by the floods, ensuring they have the assistance they need to rebuild.
On July 10, the Executive and Finance Committee of the Greater Houston Builders Association, led by GHBA President Adam Aschmann, voted to set aside $25,000 to match contributions made through the GHBA Charitable Foundation for disaster relief related to the July 4th floods in Texas. These funds will directly support organizations aiding communities impacted by flooding and rebuilding efforts in affected regions across Texas.
If you would like to join us in supporting flood recovery efforts, GHBA’s Charitable Foundation will match your contribution dollar for dollar, effectively doubling the impact of your gift. All contributions are tax-deductible and will be directed to vetted organizations actively assisting homeowners, families, and businesses in the rebuilding process.
