The BlueLinx Houston team and their family members rolled up their sleeves to volunteer at the Houston Food Bank.
They spent the day “scanning and packing,” sorting through boxes of donated goods, such as canned food items, cleaning supplies and personal care items. They scanned and categorized each product before repacking and re-stacking for distribution.

“For most, it was the first time volunteering at this great organization,” Lynn Noesser with BlueLinx said. “We are proud of the team for giving their time and efforts to give back to the community.”
By the end of their shift, the team had processed nearly 10,000 items across more than 15 pallets of donations.
