Nearly 100 guests attended the ASGi Homes’ Vendor Appreciation Luncheon on September 15 at their new offices located in Conroe, Texas. The companies donated materials, labor, and services to the construction of ASGi’s Benefit Home – totaling more than 100 percent donations before they ever broke ground! ASGi Homes built the 1,932 sq. ft. Olivia Plan for the project.

“Everybody in this room has come together to make a huge difference. I just want to give a warm, heartfelt thank you to everyone. None of the this happens without everyone here donating their time, their materials, their treasures, whatever it takes to get this final incredible result.”Mike Wilson, ASGi Homes

The home is located in the new community of Williams Reserve East, developed by Ellison Development – part of the ASGi family of companies. Ellison Development donated the homesite. When sold, the Benefit Home will raise funds for Operation Finally Home and HomeAid Houston.

The luncheon featured several speakers including Scott Merovitch, chairman of the Benefit Homes Project; Mike Dishberger, president of GHBA; Lee Kirgan, vice president of project management for Operation Finally Home; Carole Brady, executive director of HomeAid Houston; and representatives from ASGi Homes, including Bill Ellison who shared his vision of the community and what inspired ASGi’s involvement in the project. Guests also heard from Mike Wilson, vice president of construction for ASGi Homes who individually honored each company that donated, presenting them with awards of appreciation.

Bill and Mike also thanked ASGi Homes’ purchasing department for their commitment to recruiting the vendor partners who came on board.

“I’ve never seen a builder just own it like these guys have.”Scott Merovich, 2023 Benefit Homes Project Chair

Guests were treated to a BBQ buffet, courtesy of Allpoints Surveying. The program featured a professional video showcasing the individual vendor companies and their testimonials about participating, and it highlighted stages of the home’s construction. The program concluded with an amusing and entertaining highlight reel of the vendor interview bloopers.

“You guys are the ones that really made this possible,” said Bill Ellison as he addressed the guests. “There’s no doubt your generosity and commitment to this project touched a lot of people’s hearts. These are two great charities that we were happy to support.”

ASGi’s Olivia plan is a one-story design that offers three bedrooms, two full baths, an open-concept common area and a study that could flex to a fourth bedroom. The home features tile flooring, granite countertops, 42-inch cabinets, a kitchen island and 9-foot ceilings. The home also offers a three-car garage and is built on an approximate three-quarter acre lot. The home is currently for sale. Visit www.ASGiHomes.com for more information.

“The home is beautiful. We received so many incredible extras from you all, and we thank you for that.”Colleen Ellison, ASGi Homes
