GHBA’s Fall Membership Drive kicked off on October 1 with a full day of calls and camaraderie at the GHBA office. Twenty-eight volunteers rolled up their sleeves to reconnect with prospects and past members, joined by special guest Chloe Almendarez, member engagement manager for the Texas Association of Builders, who stopped by to lend her support—and even made a few calls herself.
Thanks to a steady stream of energy (and lunch generously provided by Bayou City Risk and Builders Post-Tension), the team wrapped up the day with eight new or returning members. By month’s end, the drive had brought in an impressive 65 total new members, a true testament to the power of teamwork and persistence.

Congratulations and thanks to everyone who helped with Membership Drive day and the month-long effort. As we all know, there’s strength in numbers, and I am happy to see us rebuilding momentum in membership recruitment! Please don’t let your efforts slow down. We need to keep our feet on the gas and continue recruiting! Many thanks to all the volunteers who participated and helped strengthen our association’s foundation—one call, one connection, and one new member at a time.
It has been my pleasure to serve as membership chair this year, and I look forward to welcoming Paul Glover with All About Concrete as chair for 2026. I sincerely thank each of you for your efforts and contributions this year.
