On June 3, Remodelers Council members joined with HomeAid Houston for the council’s annual Charity Work Day at Family Promise of Lake Houston. FPLH is a non-profit that provides programs and services necessary to address the underlying causes of homelessness and to return families to a self-sustaining life.
Starting bright and early, the volunteers beautified the grounds with landscaping and carpentry projects. They also built a new playscape for the resident children and turned the pet room into a pet paradise, complete with custom wall murals and even a kitty condo.
Thank you to all for making this project a success!
