Patrick Mayhan, VP of purchasing for M/I Homes, has been a fixture within the homebuilding industry for decades. He is also a huge part of the GHBA, the Benefit Homes Project and HomeAid Houston, to name just a few of the areas he focuses his time.
Patrick is a past GHBA board member and is currently on the GHBA leadership ladder. He is also the past president of the HomeAid Houston board and still serves as a board member. Patrick is also the past president of the Bay Area Builders Association and is a trustee with HOME-PAC, the political action committee formed through the GHBA. Patrick was also key in the construction of one of the most profitable Benefit Homes, setting a record for funds raised for the charities.
“I’ve always been a huge supporter of the Benefit Homes Project and felt fortunate that the companies I’ve worked for have also shared in that support,” said Patrick. “I’ve been honored to be responsible for recruiting vendors and suppliers over the years for many Benefit Homes. Being the president of HomeAid’s board gave me a first-hand look at what the sale of a Benefit Home can accomplish for the charities. I look forward to the months ahead as we work with our valuable members to make 2021 a great year for the Benefit Homes Project and the two incredible charities that benefit.”
