Texas Association of Builders Acknowledges Fryar’s Relentless Work for HomeAid

McCalle Fryar at 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty, is the winner of the “Excellence under 45” award for her work with HomeAid Houston and Austin, the Texas Association of Builders announced. The TAB Excellence under 45 Awards Program is dedicated to highlighting and rewarding young professionals who have committed their time, efforts and careers to the Texas building industry.

Fryar began her work with HomeAid in 2008, co-chairing and growing the HomeAid Amazing Ladies Organization luncheon. The HALO luncheon has raised over $597,000 to help the homeless, especially single women and children. Additionally, following Hurricane Harvey, Fryar worked with HomeAid Houston’s BuildAid project, which fixed 155 homes damaged by the hurricane. Fryar also chaired the 2018 and 2019 HomeAid Austin luncheons, which raised over $335,000.

“The only thing more impressive than McCalle’s talent is her sense of compassion,” said Jeanine Jones, vice president of business development for 2-10 HBW. “She gives a voice to the great work HomeAid has done for homeless Texans while bringing HomeAid’s mission to all Texas builders. Doing the right thing is ingrained in her DNA. No one deserved TAB’s ‘Excellence under 45’ award more than McCalle.”

In addition to her work with HomeAid, Fryar has represented 2-10 HBW since 2005. Fryar found her calling in developing relationships with industry leaders so she could better understand their needs and how to provide support to the homebuilding profession and the local communities she was serving. She has devoted her career to informing, educating, and partnering with builders to cultivate a personalized plan that enables them to mitigate risk and deliver exceptional customer experience to their clients.

She has been a member of TAB, GHBA and NAHB for 16 years. Fryar is a licensed insurance agent in Texas and a certified graduate associate (CGA) with NAHB. She has served on the GHBA Associate Council (2005 – 2015); TAB’s Sunbelt Builders Show™ Committee (16 years) and is an active participant in TAB’s biennial Rally Day.
Fryar will accept her award—along with Joshua Correa from Divino Homes and Jon Loudermilk from Homes By Design—at the Sunbelt Builders Show in Dallas during Builder Bash on July 14.
