The ACES Builders Warranty team and GHBA members gathered on May 4 to honor past GHBA CEO Max Hoyt with the ribbon-cutting to officially unveil the newly updated GHBA Max Hoyt Memorial Library, named in his honor.

On hand for this special occasion included ACES team members, Jessica Johnson, CEO; Leslie Woods, senior vice president; Brooke Pappas, business development; Hailey Hackett, lead warranty administrator; Taylor Anderson, marketing and customer service representative, and Lisa Russo, resolution facilitator. GHBA 2022 President Jennifer Keller led the ribbon-cutting, along with GHBA CEO Aimee Bertrand.

Max was the chairman of ACES Builders Warranty which he founded in 1994. The dedication also coincides with Max’s passing two years ago.

Max’s decades-long commitment and passion for improving the building industry by making the GHBA a gold standard for all builders’ associations in Texas, is reflected in the library’s new look.

“It was a joyous occasion to dedicate the GHBA library in the memory of Max who is a legend within our industry,” said Jennifer Keller, past president of the GHBA. “His accomplishments both professionally through ACES and as a leader at the GHBA have been felt in every area of homebuilding. We were proud to unveil this beautiful new look with the ACES team as we paid tribute to his legacy.”
