🌟 Meet Curtis Lawson, Principal for CRAFTED Custom Homes + Renovations and our featured member for #MembershipMonday! 🏡 Here's a look at his journey:

🏠 His start in the industry: Curtis began his career with small renovation projects back in 2002 and launched his own company in 2004. Over the years, he expanded his expertise in building science, project management and trade coordination —growing his business to take on increasingly complex custom projects. This year marks his 21st year in the industry!

👷 GHBA: Curtis has been a GHBA member for over a decade but became actively involved about six years ago. He first joined for the education and networking, but now focuses on giving back and mentoring future builders. Curtis says the GHBA and NAHB have been key to taking his company to the next level — crediting the learning opportunities, culture of excellence and camaraderie among members for helping him grow both personally and professionally.

🤝 Charity Work: Outside of GHBA, Curtis serves on the board of Jazz Houston, a local performing arts nonprofit his daughter once participated in. Through his company, he’s also working to grow support for Eyes on Me and The Hangar Unity Center.

🎣 Passions: Curtis and his wife stay busy with three daughters in high school and college. In his free time, he enjoys playing music, hunting, fishing, camping and hitting the pickleball court!

🏡 GHBA’s Impact: "The GHBA and NAHB have really helped me take my company to the next level. I truthfully would not be where I am today were it not for the educational opportunities that are available, and the continual push for improvement and excellence among the membership," Curtis said. 🌟 Meet Kelsey Grahmann, Houston Sales Coach for David Weekley Homes, our featured member for #MembershipMonday! 🏡 Here's a look at her journey:

🏠 Her start in the industry: Kelsey got her start nearly 20 years ago with Johnson Development, working in the Homefinder Center before moving into custom home sales. When the recession hit, she pivoted into new home sales full time just as others were leaving. In 2013, she joined David Weekley Homes as a Sales Coach and has been mentoring and inspiring others ever since.

👷 GHBA: Kelsey has attended GHBA events throughout her career, but this is her first year actively serving on the Sales & Marketing Council Board of Directors. She joined to grow professionally and stay ahead in an ever-evolving industry.

🤝 Charity Work: Through David Weekley Homes' philanthropic efforts, Kelsey has supported organizations like Love Fosters Hope, the Texas Ramp Project and Sleep in Heavenly Peace — some of her most rewarding volunteer experiences.

🚲 Passions: Life at home is full for Kelsey and her husband Greg with six kids aged 16 to 23 and three doodle dogs! She’s a Peloton enthusiast, loves hiking trails when traveling and is always up for live music and new adventures.
