This spring, the City of Houston’s Permitting Center will be moving to 100% electronic plan submittal for all residential projects. While the EPR option has been available for years, it will now be mandatory.

City of Houston Permitting staff have offered to provide training courses for association members at the GHBA where they will provide an overview of the EPR process for residential buildings. They will be covering the two online systems used to complete the steps in the EPR process—the iPermits and ProjectDox applications. In addition, there will be a Q&A session with permitting staff, including Chief Building Official Mark Savasta, to address any questions related to code development, inspections, permits, and plan review processes.

Two sessions will be offered:
Wednesday, March 6, 4 pm – 6 pm REGISTER
Wednesday, March 13, 4 pm – 6 pm REGISTER
