On Thursday, August 29, the City of Conroe passed a development moratorium due to the lack of adequate water infrastructure to supply current and future residents. GHBA members and staff spoke at both public hearings and offered to work alongside city officials as they navigate a growing city and area.
The moratorium will be in effect for 120 days with the option to lengthen or shorten as needed. The full ordinance can be found here.
