Debbie Page Reaches Milestone Spike

At GHBA’s Mid-Year Forecast, President Chris Bolio stopped to recognize someone whose impact on this association runs deep. With the room’s full attention, he honored Debbie for crossing a threshold that only a handful of people in GHBA’s history have ever reached: 1,000 lifetime spikes.
A “spike” represents a member you’ve helped recruit or retain. It’s a measure of investment in your peers, your industry, and the community you’re building around you. Reaching 1,000 is beyond impressive. It’s a career’s worth of phone calls, introductions, and genuine belief that this association is worth showing up for.
Debbie crossed that line with 1,013 spikes as of the end of May, earning her the title of Grand Spike.
“Debbie Page has helped recruit and retain members for the Greater Houston Builders Association for many, many years,” Bolio told the crowd. “Please join me in thanking Debbie for her unwavering support of GHBA and her work to keep our community strong.”
The surprise recognition drew a well-deserved round of applause. Mid-Year Forecast is where the industry takes stock of where things stand —a perfect moment to acknowledge someone who has quietly, consistently made GHBA stronger, year after year. Thank you, Debbie, for helping us build this community!
