The Associate Council is made up of 25 elected members who serve as representatives for the general associate membership. The council develops, promotes and coordinates active participation within the Greater Houston Builders Association. The council is responsible for the non-dues incomed generated through the following events: Spring and Fall Golf Tournaments, Fall Fun Night and Adopt-a-Family Holiday Project. The members of the council are actively involved in the New Home and Remodeling Show and provide three scholarships to assist area students enrolled in curricula related to the housing industry.

The council meets the first Thursday of each month at the GHBA offices at 11:30 a.m. with no meeting in December. All associate members are invited to attend the meetings.
