Eligibility

The DEADLINE for PRISM has been extended to February 26th at 5pm. There are NO late fees, all entries are $125 each. There are absolutely NO exceptions to this deadline. This deadline was extended to accommodate the overwhelming response to the Parade of Homes coming in May 2008. Every home entered in Parade receives a FREE PRISM entry for the same home. Please visit www.myghba.com/parade for complete details on this event. The specific Houston market, as outlined, by the GHBA bylaws, shall be the county areas including Harris, Fort Bend, Wharton, Waller, Montgomery, Matagorda, Brazoria, and Liberty Counties. People, product, and promotion entries will be judged only if they were implemented in or employed during the 2007 calendar year. Categories will be judged for an award if at least three entries (from two different entrants) are submitted by the deadline. *Please note that for all categories, entries must be submitted in the builder’s, developer’s or remodelor’s name. The awards will be presented to the builder, developer or remodelor with recognition of the appropriate associate member’s firm (with the exception of Realtor and Mortgage Specialist, Best Promotion by an Associate and the Humanitarian Award.)

Entry Fees

Each entry is $125 if payment is received by the early entry deadline of 5pm on February 26, 2008. When completing your entry on-line, you will have the option to pay for all of your entries at one time either on-line via credit card or by mailing a check to the GHBA. Please note that although you may have completed and submitted your entry, we must receive your payment to validate each entry for judging. All early entry fees of $125 must be received and recorded no later than noon on February 27, 2008. Entry fees are non-refundable.

How to Enter

You will be asked to create your own Login ID and Password. Please use this throughout the entry process as it will allow you to enter multiple categories and store your work in an easy manner. After creating your Login ID, you may begin the entry process immediately by opening each link for the category you’d like to enter and begin your submission. You may begin the on-line entry process immediately. Please note the PRINT AND READ ME FIRST link.  This link will allow you to print your entry form and gather the accurate information, data, documents and photos needed to complete your entry. No entries will be accepted after the late deadline.

Special Instructions

There is no limit to the number of entries per category or the number of categories you may enter. You can update your entry (even after you have paid for the entry) as many times as you’d like until the late deadline of noon February 12, 2008. Remember, before logging out of the PRISM system, you must hit the SUBMIT button to save your work.

Some entries will require you to submit pictures in both .jpg & .tif format due to the various requirements of the judging process, print materials, and PRISM show production. Please ensure that you follow the guidelines below when submitting your images:

•  .jpg files must in RGB Format be no larger than 500k AND
• .tif files need to be less than 3 megs in size and must be 300dpi or better
• .pdf files will be required for some entries
• TV/Video entries will require .mpg or .wmv files
• Audio entries will require .mp3 files
